MS51095 through MS51110 drilled hex cap screws
Finished hex cap screws with a locking provision: head drilled for lockwire, or shank drilled for a cotter pin. 1/4 through 1 in.
MS51095–MS51110, machined to the standard.
This run of sheets covers the same finished hex cap screw in two drilled configurations. MS51095 (UNC), MS51096 (UNF), MS51099 (stainless, UNC) and MS51100 (stainless, UNF) have the head drilled for locking wire. MS51105 (UNC) and MS51106 (UNF) are Grade 5 with the shank drilled for a cotter pin; MS51107 and MS51108 are the Grade 8 versions; MS51109 and MS51110 the stainless versions. MS51095, 51096, 51105, 51106, 51109 and 51110 are now NASM numbers; MS51099, 51100, 51107 and 51108 are inactive for new design but remain valid part numbers. MS51101 through MS51104 were cancelled decades ago.

How Cyclone makes them
Bar stock certified to the material specification is cut, turned and threaded to the standard’s dimensions, with drilled heads or shanks and head markings as the part number requires. Plating and locking elements are applied through partner facilities to the standard.
Lead time
Quoted on each order. Because the parts are machined from bar rather than scheduled through a heading run, lead time is set by machining capacity and material availability. Ask for the current lead time with your RFQ.
Quality
Cyclone’s published certifications include AS9100D, AS9120B, ISO 9001:2015, API Spec Q1, API 20E and API 20F. See quality and certifications.
Documentation
Material test reports and certificates of conformance ship with the order. Additional inspection reports and documentation are quoted to the purchase order.
Questions before you quote
Which sheet has the drilled head and which has the drilled shank?
MS51095, 51096, 51099 and 51100 are head-drilled for lockwire. MS51105 through MS51110 are shank-drilled for a cotter pin and have no head hole.
Does Cyclone stock these?
No. Every part is made to order from certified bar, which is why there is no minimum quantity and why the quote confirms sizes and lead time.
Can you quote a cancelled or superseded number?
Yes. Many MS sheets were reissued as NASM or SAE AS standards with the part numbers unchanged. Send the number on your drawing and the quote names the current document.
