Custom machined components
CNC turning, live tooling, custom threading, and part marking for drawing-controlled work.

Custom machined components, defined by the order.
A drawing is the starting point. Cyclone reviews the material, dimensions, tolerances, thread details, surface condition, marking, and documentation requirements together. Manufacturing capability and delivery are confirmed against the specific part and order.
- Drawing revision and material condition reviewed up front
- Critical dimensions and inspection scope identified
- Prototype, batch, and repeat requirements discussed with the team
Specify material grade and condition, dimensions, thread series/class, quantity, finish, required delivery, and documentation.
Define the part. Align the requirement.
Custom machining starts with an agreed drawing revision and measurable acceptance criteria. Cyclone combines Doosan PUMA and Lynx turning centers, a Doosan vertical mill, Landis threading, sawing, chamfering and part identification to review a route from bar stock to the finished component.
Features and drawing control
Identify turned diameters, shoulders, grooves, holes, flats, threads and marking locations. State critical characteristics, datums, surface finish and the drawing revision.
Published material families
Machining references include carbon and alloy steels, 300/400 series stainless, duplex and super duplex, nickel alloys including Inconel and Monel, titanium, aluminum and brass. Confirm the exact grade, condition and availability for the part.
Thread and process requirements
Published thread references include UN, UNC, UNF, metric M and MJ, ACME, buttress, API and NPT forms. Supply the required thread definition and any process restrictions for review.
Size, tolerance and release
Machine envelope and achievable tolerance depend on material, geometry, setup and inspection access. Submit the complete part dimensions, quantity and required inspection records for an order-specific commitment.
Questions before you quote
Can turning and milled features be reviewed together?
Yes. Send the complete drawing so the team can review turning, live-tool and vertical-mill requirements together with threading and finishing.
Do published tolerance examples guarantee my part tolerance?
No. The team confirms quoted tolerances for the specific material, geometry, workholding and inspection requirements.
What should an aerospace or defense RFQ include?
Include all contract quality clauses, required approvals, material traceability, first-article requirements and release documentation. Arrange an approved transfer method before sending controlled technical data.
