Marine & subsea manufacturing requirements.
Requirements defined for demanding environments.
Requirements defined for demanding environments.
Saltwater and subsea service place particular demands on the customer’s material and coating specification. Cyclone manufactures to those supplied requirements, with the applicable documentation and inspection scope agreed during order review.
Specify the required alloy, condition, and corrosion requirements
Define finish, thread allowance, and marking locations
Identify required testing and material documentation
Confirm packaging, preservation, and delivery requirements
Products. Processes. Proof.
A practical path from your requirement to a manufacturing review.
Precision manufacturing
CNC turning, threading, cutting, marking, and inspection.
Bolting packages for specified marine service
Connect your project specification to a complete manufacturing and supply review. Clear material, dimensional and acceptance requirements help the team define the quote and the records needed at delivery.
Part and procurement scope
Identify the assembly, service environment, material grade and condition, finish, thread requirements and all corrosion or additional testing requirements. Define component marking and the documents needed to keep each heat or lot identifiable through delivery.
Material grades and finishes
Published product listings include ASTM A193 B7 studs and stainless B8/B8M studs, with A194 2H, Grade 8 and Grade 8M nuts. Published B7 and 2H configurations include plain, TFE blue and cadmium-plated options. These references are not a recommendation for a particular service; supply the required grade, condition and finish.
Dimensions and availability
Stud bolts and stainless steel studs are offered in diameters from 1/2 inch through 4 inches, with lengths to the customer’s specification. Heavy hex nuts range from 5/8 inch through 4 inches nominal diameter. Consult the product range tables for grades and finishes. For custom parts, send the complete drawing; size feasibility, material availability and delivery are confirmed for the order.
Standards, inspection and documentation
Published material references include stainless, duplex, super duplex and nickel-alloy families. The exact alloy, strength condition and suitability for seawater or subsea service must be specified by the responsible engineer.
Questions before you quote
What information speeds up an RFQ?
Identify the assembly, service environment, material grade and condition, finish, thread requirements and all corrosion or additional testing requirements. Define component marking and the documents needed to keep each heat or lot identifiable through delivery.
Are the listed grades approved for my application?
The customer or responsible engineer defines material suitability and the governing specification. Cyclone reviews the supplied manufacturing and documentation requirements; no universal application or customer-program approval is implied.
Can I combine standard hardware with drawing-specific work?
Yes. List each part separately with material, dimensions, quantity, finish and required documentation. The team reviews the complete scope and confirms the proposed delivery.
