About Nut Weights
Nut weights are calculated based on standard specifications from industry weight charts. The weights shown represent pounds per 100 pieces for standard steel nuts.
Weights are approximate and may vary by manufacturer, material grade, and finish type.
Nut Types Explained
- Finished Hex: Standard hex nuts with finished threads
- Heavy Hex: Thicker, heavier-duty hex nuts
- Hex Jam: Thinner hex nuts used for locking
- Heavy Hex Jam: Thicker jam nuts for heavy-duty applications
- Square: Square-shaped nuts
- Heavy Square: Thicker square nuts
